HBCU Graduate from Prairie View A&M University Chelsi continued to study voice in the Meadows School of the Arts at Southern Methodist University under Barbara Hill-Moore and received vocal coaching from Jason Smith. While studying at Meadows School of the Arts she received principal and small principal roles for Opera Scene performances such as the “1st Lady” from Mozart’s “Die Zauberflöte”, “Sister Angelica” from Puccini’s “Suor Angelica”, “Bess” from “Porgy & Bess” by Gerswhin and many more.
