Numbers 10:1 (NKJV) “The Lord said to Moses: Make two trumpets of hammered silver, and use them for calling the community together and for directing the movement of the camps.”  
To those who play the trumpet (and other musicians too) – we are NOT to just perform; but we are called to gather the people of God to worship the KING. As we lift up our sound to the Lord.
