Wendy Madore is the good force behind Daytime Stars & Strikes, the annual weekend of events to benefit the Autism Society of America and the Jerry verDorn Scholarship Fund, which sends children on the spectrum to theatre camps. Her vision is to raise awareness and funds for individuals living with autism, to ensure all receive opportunities to learn, socialize, establish friendships, receive educational and employment opportunities, and live their best life without barriers and in a safe environment. Wendy proves, year after year, you can make good things happen — in 2022, DS&S raised over $35,000 —and have a great time doing it at the same time.
