There are many misconceptions on divorce. The law had a provision for a divorce in the case of a maid or representation of a woman to be virginal, it was a matter of contract. Adultery is to be forgiven.Be child-like. Deny yourself. Protect innocence. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.”            Later, when Jesus was alone with his disciples, they asked him again about the matter of divorce. He replied, saying:            “Whosoever shall put away his wife, and marry another, committeth adultery against her. And if a woman shall put away her husband and be married to another, she committeth adultery.”
