To support and celebrate International Women’s Day 2023 and the #EmbraceEquity focus for this year, we’re bringing you a special solo episode focusing on the power and impact women have when they take care of themselves.
Why women? Doesn’t everyone need to take care of their health?
Yes we should all be investing in our health, but there is urgency and a need for women because there is a huge and increasing risk to their health right now, with heart disease for females significantly on the rise and dementia and Alzheimers now being the biggest killer of women in the UK. Women continue to be under-represented in so many different ways and areas of our lives, world and society.
I know that by taking care of your health you’re going to feel strong, capable, confident and build resilience. When you feel all of these things, you’re willing to make changes, to believe that you can get after what you want, to create a life you love.
Women still hold the unlock to impacting kids and their attitude towards why they should take care of themselves and live a healthy life. This is why I want you to listen and take action today, to start a ripple effect that will grow and then change the lives of so many people in your world.
