The Connecticut ACLU is demanding that cities and towns stop using automatic license plate readers. The organization is calling for a pause of the use of these devices by police departments over allegations that personal data is being misused. We asked former chief of police in Fairfield, Gary MacNamara, who also sits on law enforcement committees at the state level.
