Well, hello there - appreciate ya listening and all the feedback. As today is May 1 and May is mental health awareness month, not only am I starting another podcast focused on the brain, but I will have some sort of intertwining of mental health advocacy every episode for the month of May. As always, if you or someone you know is having something going on and need some support the number 988 is a national number. You can dial from any phone they’ll put you in contact with someone to help you clear it all up in your brain. Give ya someone to talk to and get support and resources. Sometimes you could feel like oh well I’m good that number doesn’t really help and I’m strong and get through everything but then are stuck…well then, that number can help. Straight up, I’ve called some sort of helpline in my life before an it was helpful. There comes a time when we just need someone to talk to or listen to someone that gives us a different perspective and just a conversation could have a rippling effect. As for the episode, slowing down to speed up can be a thing, if you allow it to be. Everyone’s brain works differently to some degree and seeking to understand instead of jumping to conclusions is what keeps us from burning bridges and collectively ascending the mountain of life.
