Walid Shaharul is a Brooklyn based artist that is a self-taught painter from Queens.He recently had his first solo exhibition put on by the homies over at the art collective, Roosi entitled ‘Safe Space’ at Synesthesia.Walid’s figures have distorted faces which reminds you of Francis Bacon.We don’t eat bacon because we’re about that muslim lifestyle.
