Wake Up Sydney: Your Go-To Source for Today's Weather, Traffic and Train Updates
Hello, Sydney! You're listening to the Wake Up Sydney podcast. Today we're diving into everything you need to know to get through your day in the Harbor City with ease.

In today's episode, we're discussing the latest weather forecast which promises a radiant morning with temperatures starting off at a pleasant 17.4°C and rising up to a summery high of 28°C. Don't forget your sunglasses while heading out, but remember - a potential rain shower later in the day calls for an umbrella to be tucked into your bag. For those in Parramatta, expect a slightly warmer day, while Bondi Beach looks forward to a milder high of 25°C. Regardless of where you are in Sydney, keep an eye on the sky as we're expecting possible showers to refresh us all come Friday.

Switching gears to traffic, this morning has brought us a couple of snags to be aware of. There's been a collision on State road at St Peters and yet another on the M4-M8 Link close to the M8 Motorway. Lane 3 is shut down currently, and a speed limit of 40 km/h is in play, so prepare for some delays. Hats off to our traffic crews who are hard at work at these scenes - your patience will help them get roads cleared quicker.

For those riding the rails, take note: Wynyard Station is undergoing repairs, which means the North Shore, Northern, and Western Lines are experiencing delays. It might be a smart move to reroute your journey via the T9 Northern Line or hop onto the Sydney Metro from Chatswood, transferring at Epping to avoid any hold-ups.

Golf enthusiasts heading to the ISPS HANDA Australian Golf Open, you've got a smooth ride ahead! The T8 will drop you at Mascot Station, with dedicated shuttle buses ready to escort you directly to the course at Rosebery and Eastlakes from 7 am to 5 pm.

We've packed today's podcast with even more intriguing updates on the weather, traffic, and trains, so keep your dial locked on Wake Up Sydney. Remember to stay tuned and, above all, keep that Sydney cheer!
