Emile Ford was first and foremost a sound scientist and secondly he was a Number One hit-maker. He lived his life trying to create the best sound in the world and he had been involved with some of the biggest names in the business. I first met Emile in Cornwall around 1990 and he became a personal friend. Vince met up with Emile Ford on Wednesday 8th July 2009 when Emile explained that he had been creating his wonderful sound for such great stars as Michael Jackson, Abba, Bruce Sprinsteen, Dionne Warwick, Aretha Franklin and the artistes who competed in the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest.
