“He restores my soul” (Psalm 23:3). Isn’t that what all of us need? Restoration? Restoration for our hearts. Restoration for our souls. Restoration for our lives. Sin is like a tornado that leaves a trail of destruction both inside us and outside us. Jesus came to restore our souls. In fact, the Old Testament is filled with “restoration promises.” Beautiful promises that God will restore his people.
