Listen "Psalm 73:1-28 – “A Song for a Frustrated Heart: It Is Good To Be Near God” - March 22, 2023"
Episode Synopsis
Does life frustrate you? Do you feel you have some pretty valid complaints against God? You’re not alone. There’s a song for that in the Bible: Psalm 73. In Psalm 73, a believer in God named Asaph presents all his complaints to God, just like you and I so often do. But in the middle of his frustrations, Asaph remembered the Lord and his promises. He reaches this powerful conclusion: “Yet I am always with you; you hold me by my right hand. You guide me with your counsel, and afterward you will take me into glory. Whom have I in heaven but you? And earth has nothing I desire besides you. My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever” (Psalm 73:23-26). I hope you can listen to this Lenten sermon: “A Song for a Frustrated Heart: It Is Good To Be Near God.” God bless you!
