Apart from Buddhism, Tengrism, the worship of the sky and nature, is still practiced in Mongolia today. According to this belief, the sky is the father, and the earth is the mother of all beings in the universe.This clip was inspired by a dream the Lord gave me during the night. In the dream, I was suddenly teleported to a foreign land, walking along a snow-covered road that felt like somewhere in Eurasia. Just ahead of me walked a girl who appeared to be around 17 or 18 years old. She looked sad, so I approached her and gently began to speak about God and His love. I only shared two or three simple truths, but as she listened, I could tell her heart was deeply touched—she had never heard about God in that way before.As I was getting ready to leave, she looked at me and said, “Why don’t you come to my place for some tea?” Then she looked up at the sky and added, “It’s a beautiful day.” The vivid blueness of the sky struck me in that moment—I could feel her openness, her quiet longing to hear more about God.You can read the rest of the dream on my website, superdifferent.com.
