I\'m not the only lady who feels imprisoned by this persistent societal joke.
False narratives consistently limit the lives of women — perhaps all lives do, but in my case, it\'s my life. It doesn\'t bother me in any way. My reputation as a lousy handler of money is an abstraction. The bigger picture, though, is crucial: Women can manage their own investments, both minutely and financially.
Money is power. When people tell you you’re not good with money, what they mean is they don’t want you to be comfortable with the stock exchange of power in capitalism, in large bills or small. They don’t want you to trust your instincts in accessing one of the few routes to approximate personal freedom: finances.
