Plus, building on last week's episode about enslavement in Canada, Paul talks about the circumstances in the late 1700's - early anti-slavery activism, court decisions and legislation - that paved the way to abolish slavery in Canada. The first legislation to limit slavery in the entire British Empire originated in today's Ontario.
