Listen "Mystic, Sweet Communion"
Episode Synopsis
Dear Family,
Few people have friends that they can be themselves with, . . . and that is true even in the church. And yet, the church should be the place where real and vulnerable relationships flourish. I am persuaded that our church should and can be a place of “mystic sweet communion.” A place of welcome and generosity and compassion—a place where everybody knows your name and they’re always glad you came. If you get some time, I would love for you to read Acts 2:42-47 and maybe even John 17. I think these two passages give us a glimpse of who God is
molding us to be.
