Listen "HOUSING SHORTAGE 'UNPRECEDENTED' "
Episode Synopsis
There is an unprecedented shortage of homes available to families and individuals with different income levels. Nationwide, the National Low Income Housing Coalition tags that shortage at 7.1 million affordable and available rental homes with only 35 affordable and available homes for every 100 extremely low-income renter households. The money flow from the Federal Government for new, low-income housing construction has slowed to a trickle, leaving housing officials in Pennsylvania to fend for themselves. On this week's episode of The Volpe report, Chuck is sitting down with Leaders in the housing sector Robin Wiseman and Barbara Wilson to talk about this shortage.
