Light colored suits with a pastel t-shirt underneath was a look that you could only pull off on Halloween.  But not true for Crockett and Tubbs. It also probably helped that they drove around in fancy cars and boats and got to blow stuff up.  Also having the day's top music play in the background was just icing on the cake made of cocaine.   
If you still have your white suit because just maybe you'll have a reason to wear it, then this is the series for you.
