This week we welcomed Bryce Krawczyk to the podcast. Bryce is the co-owner of Calgary Barbell, multiple time Canadian National powerlifting champ & currently holds the IPF deadlift WR in the 120kg class @ 385.5kg.
Bryce is a very decorated powerlifter & has been in the game a long time. He is also at the top of his game & competing against the very best at the highest level one can in PL. Having been so competitive & involved in the sport for so long we wanted to chat to Bryce about what keeps him involved in the sport & keep pushing for more.
We got to talk about the highs/lows of the sport, the community aspect, the struggle for progress & how to find enjoyment in the sport even when life gets hectic or when we meet some resistance. We also got into talking some specifics around equipped vs raw lifting with programming & the transfer to each other.
