Episode Synopsis
Gerry reads the 3rd of her 'Old Seamus' series of 29 Irish stories, (originally published in 'Ireland's Own' - an Irish magazine produced in Wexford, Ireland).
Annie and Sean O'Grady had lived in the cottage all their married lives and, though they had no children, they were blissfully happy.
Then things started to go wrong. First Sean died and then Annie was served notice to quit, but how could she take Sean's apple tree with her? Annie's life was in turmoil, then her old friend Seamus came up with a plan ...
