Then, in chapter 44, God gives rules for the Temple and the priests, emphasizing the importance of being holy and serving God correctly. These chapters remind us that God wants to be close to His people and that there are special ways to respect and honor Him.1 Peter 2:4-25 talks about Jesus as the most important stone in a building. Just like a building is built on a strong stone, our lives should be built on Jesus. We, like living stones, are part of something bigger, serving God together. The passage also teaches about living good lives, respecting others, and following Jesus' example, even when things are hard.
