Peter, initially walking on water, begins to sink due to his fear and doubt, but Jesus saves him, emphasizing faith's power. The narrative then shifts in Matthew 15:1-9, where Jesus confronts the Pharisees and scribes about their adherence to human traditions over God's commandments, challenging their understanding of purity and devotion.
