With the new Spider-man film releasing in December 2021, we decided to revisit the original Spider-man movie game that features voice acting from Tobey Maguire, Willem Dafoe and Bruce Campbell. There were many Spider-man games before this one released to Gamecube, Xbox and PS2, and there have been many since, but this is the first Spider-man game that was based on a live action film, and Devon and Quentin break down the ways in which it nails and fails its beloved source material.
