Colossians 3:1-11Pastor Troy brought this message for the second night of revival. A major point of his message was that sin has lulled us into a state of apathy and indifference. The people of God in America have gotten to the place where we make light of the very sin that Christ Jesus suffered and died for. The sin in our lives is a direct affront against a holy and righteous God. The sin we take so lightly is the very sin that brought the full weight of God's wrath upon our precious Lord and Savior. We will not see revival in our nation until we learn to put the old man to death and repent of the sin that is quenching the Holy Spirit in our life and in our churches.The calling for every Christian is to take the gospel to the ends of the earth. Well, where does the earth begin and where does it end? For us at Bald Mountain Baptist Church, the world begins in the Shumont Community on top of a little peak in Buncombe County, NC.
