Revelation 2:1-5Pastor Troy opens up this Sunday morning's revival service with a brief message from the book of Revelation. Troy likens the state of our church to that of the church of Ephesus here as Jesus speaks to them. Really, Troy says that the church in America as a whole is not seeing revival because of where there hearts are with Christ. Jesus commends them for doing all the right things, but warns them that they have departed from their First Love, namely Himself. Christ calls for the church to remember how their hearts used to truly be devoted to Him, and to return to this kind of loving service. The calling for every Christian is to take the gospel to the ends of the earth. Well, where does the earth begin and where does it end? For us at Bald Mountain Baptist Church, the world begins in the Shumont Community on top of a little peak in Buncombe County, NC. Our prayer is that through this platform we might do our part in reaching the ends of the earth with the gospel!We have finally gotten our back-content uploaded, praise the Lord!
