Jae Sevelius, PhD (they/them), is a Clinical Psychologist and lifelong academic, currently transitioning from Professor of Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco to Professor of Medical Psychology (in Psychiatry) at Columbia University. Jae is known internationally for their expertise in gender-affirming healthcare for transgender and gender expansive communities, leading large community-engaged research projects on transgender health in New York, California, and Brazil. Jae also specializes in psychedelic-assisted therapy for identity-based trauma and holds a Certificate in Psychedelic-Assisted Therapies and Research from the California Institute of Integral Studies.
