In this episode of "The Journey of My Mother's Son" podcast, I sit down to talk with another one of my former players, Dustin Ford. Dustin played for me when he was 14, 15, and 16 years old and played a total of five years in the Berkshire Baseball organization. We were able to reconnect in Prescott Valley, Arizona, where he now resides with his fiancée, Jess. We shared a lot of great memories about his time on the field.  More importantly, Dustin talked about how the life lessons that he learned on the baseball field as a teenager have continued to help him throughout his life and professional career. I've said it before, and I'll say it again, reconnecting with my old players has been the most fulfilling part of this journey for me.  So, to be able to see two of them in less than a week while we were out in Arizona, completely filled my heart with joy. I am so proud of what these guys have accomplished in their lives and feel blessed to be able to share their stories through this podcasting platform that I now have.
