In this episode, we take a look at the book of Isaiah 40:8. Isaiah is professing to the people of Israel the promises of God and how his word will stand the test of time. Israel was In bondage in Babylon, and they had begin to lose hope that God would keep his word to deliver them. God wanted his people to have comfort in knowing that the things of this world would fade away, but his word would last forever. There are many things in our lives that we so easily put our trust in that, over time do not last and inevitably let us down. But God is faithful, and we can put our trust in his word to be with us, and deliver us from all of our troubles. Grace and Peace.
