In the second episode of TMRT, host Nijha Young sits down with Michelle Pei, a junior psychology student and president of Active Minds@IC for the 2020-21 academic year. Pei is also the Vice President of Advertising for IC's Asian American Alliance.
The two discuss their experiences with competition and imposter syndrome in academia, where these feelings come from, and how their individual identities inform feelings of unworthiness and other internal conflicts. Finally, Young and Pei share ways we can all try to face and overcome our fears of being inadequate.
