If you are experiencing acute, chronic or complex trauma, please do seek professional help and/or therapy. This meditation is simply in addition to the many tools we must discover to heal our trauma.The most important thing is to acknowledge the trauma we feel so we can begin the process of releasing it. My hope is that this meditation can help you soothe your nervous system and remind your brain that you are not currently in danger. We'll move through a visualization technique where you use your creative mind to enter a safe place. We also use speaking to a past version of you and/or your inner child, if that feels okay, to bring in love, support and reassurance.
