Gioia is an unorthodox millennial who transitioned early on from economics to design. For the past 4 years, by day, Gioia Arieti worked as a Human-Centered Designer fostering Danske Bank's digital transformation. Recently, she changed focus to work in digital transformation consulting for life sciences. For the past 4 years, by night, she has been working on creating a new time unit inspired by long-term missions in Space.
In May 2023 she became an analogue astronaut and her work has gained coverage in an American innovation magazine, TEDx in Bulgaria, Melissa Space conference in France and won an art prize from a European Space community. She is now sparking innovation in organizations while advocating for multidisciplinarity.
