Malcolm Catto Is a drummer and record producer. He co-founded and produced the English Psychedelic / Jazz experimental music group, The Heliocentrics. Malcolm is the archetypal collaborator, and he’s worked alongside some of the world’s most diverse musical artists. As well as producing four Heliocentric albums, he’s also issued collaborations with DJ Shadow, Mulatu Astatke, Lloyd Miller, Orlando Julius all and Little Barrie.Join me in Part One, as I talk to Malcolm about what music means to him, and his remarkable musical journey so far, as he winds his way home through the busy Dalston Market.This is a two-part interview, which is available now.
