Tuesday, February 13: Have you ever wondered what Lent is all about? Or maybe you’ve been curious about trying it, but you’re not sure how or why? Well, you’re not alone. As Southern Baptists, I didn’t grow up with Lent, and I had some misconceptions about it. But during our time time overseas, Marci and I learned a lot from our brothers and sisters in Christ who practice Lent, and we decided to give it a try. And let us tell you, it was worth doing. Lent helped us focus on Jesus, repent of our sins, and celebrate His resurrection like never before. In this latest episode, I share some thoughts on how you can make Lent a part of your spiritual journey, too.
