The stable: "Lord, help me make my home a welcoming place for you and a place that glorifies you."
The animals: "Jesus, please help me embrace humility in my life, just as you did when you were born in a manger."
Mary and Joseph: "As Mary prayed and Joseph obeyed, please help me to follow your will in my life."
Infant Jesus: "Gracious Christ, you humbled yourself by taking on human form and being born in a stable. Please be with me this season in a special and enduring way."
The angel(s): "As the angels proclaimed peace on earth and goodwill toward all, please help me to spread love and kindness this Christmas season."
The shepherds: "Lord, like the shepherds who welcomed you and shared the good news about you, please help me to share your love with others."
The wise men (in the scene or at some distance): "As the magi traveled from afar to worship and present their gifts to you, please help me to live a life that is pleasing to you, my Lord and my Redeemer."
