This is our Ego
Our senses; our emotions, our ignorance our fears and mortality.  They rescue us from a never-ending existence emptiness of a complete and absolute nothing. If not for our senses, our emotions, our ignorance our fears and our mortality we would torment in a non-existence far worse than any hell. This non-existence would be more complete and beyond our concept of death. Our triumphs and our failures are nothing more than temporary illusions whose purpose is to deliver us from an eternal formless sea of oblivion a complete and forever, never-ending nothingness.  Our senses allow us to know this world in the physical, our ignorance and our mortality allow us to use our emotions to deliver more satisfy desires and more powerful experiences, more precious treasure.  This is our ego, this is our physical form, this is our purpose in this form.
