Listen "UK Protest: Reflections of a Black Muslim Girl ft. Fathiat"
Episode Synopsis
While preparing for my first university exams, I received a life-changing call from my mother—it was time to leave Nigeria. At 16, I found myself in the UK, adjusting to a new educational system and living in a one-bedroom house with eight people. As we found stability, I faced unexpected challenges, including my first protest, and began to discover my identity as a Black, Muslim girl in a world that saw me differently.
