Rafael is the head instructor at Alliance Champions Training Center in Greenville, SC and has been practicing Jiu-Jitsu since he was around 12 years old! He obtained his black belt in 2003, and since 2008 has promoted 15 black belts at Alliance Champions Training Center. He is a multi time world championship finalist, and has competed in multiple grappling tournaments all over the world, including IBJJF PANS and IBJJF WORLDS.
He has a passion for not only Jiu-Jitsu, but surfing, spending time with friends and family, and teaching The Gentle Art.
