Episode 129 features Brandon Ying interview Natalie Neill. Brandon Ying is an undergraduate student in technical communication at York University Toronto and is taking part in the inaugural TBR Podcast Internship Program. Natalie Neill is an Assistant Professor, Teaching Stream, at York University in Toronto. Her research interests include female authorship in the Romantic period, Gothic parody, and transmedia adaptation. In addition to writing articles and chapters on these topics, she has edited two early nineteenth-century comic Gothic novels for Valancourt Books (Love and Horror and The Hero). Most recently, she edited a collection, Gothic Mash-Ups: Hybridity, Appropriation, and Intertextuality in Gothic Storytelling (Lexington Books, 2022). Her edition of Mary Charlton's Rosella, or Modern Occurrences (1799) is forthcoming (Routledge, 2023).
