Listen "Vida Blue - Oakland A's phenom"
Episode Synopsis
Vida Blue was a pitcher for the Oakland A's, San Francisco Giants and KC Royals. He won the Cy Young and MVP in 1971 and seemed to be on a HoF trajectory. That all got derailed as he got mixed up in cocaine in the early 1980s. Still, he was an incredible pitcher and 3 time World Series champion.I'm joined by @mikethesportshistorycollec1947 to discuss his career, look at some memorabilia and talk about Vida's legacy.
