Welcome back to another episode of the ACN Podcast. In today's episode I speak with Skye Coote. Skye is a stroke nurse practitioner and nursing coordinator for the Mobile Stroke Unit (MSU) based out of the Royal Melbourne Hospital. In the first half of the episode Skye details the role and scope of practice for a stroke nurse practitioner within the hospital setting. In the second half Skye provides an overview of Australia's only Mobile Stroke Unit along with a detailed example of the type of patients the team responds to.
