Anastasia saw Jelly’s profile on a rescue site on Facebook, and immediately knew this was the doggo for her. But taking on Jelly was not your average adoption story.Jelly is unlike most dogs in that he has been blind from birth. Due to some complications with his eyes in the first 18 months of his life, he has also been through multiple procedures to remove his eyes, in order to give him the best quality of life. Anastasia knew of Jelly’s blindness from the start, and dove all in regardless!I really enjoyed this chat with Anastasia!Her dedication to ensuring Jelly has a wonderful quality of life is both uplifting and inspiring.Anastasia talks about life with a blind dog, challenges they have faced, and achievements they have made together (which is wildly impressive!).I am in awe of Anastasia and Jelly’s resilience with any and every challenge faced.
