Episode Synopsis
The second annual Matt Cousins Memorial Golf Tournament has become a beloved tradition, bringing together family, friends, and supporters to celebrate Matt’s memory while fostering the growth of young lacrosse players.
Held at Hidden Hills on May 24th, the event is dedicated to helping athletes from Wallaceburg, Walpole Island First Nations, and communities across Chatham-Kent and Lambton County.
It is a tribute to Matt’s passion for the game and his commitment to inspiring the next generation.
Golf spots filled quickly this year, but organizers have added extra activities to make the event even more engaging.
Community members can take part in cornhole games and test their skills in the fastest lacrosse ball throw contest.
The silent auction, featuring a range of items, will be open for public bidding in person only.
Items can be viewed on the website www.mattcousinsmemorialgolf.com and more items will be added as the tournament approaches.

The day will culminate in an evening of live music and camaraderie at Glasstown Brewing Company.
Colt McLaughlin will take the stage from 6 to 8 p.m., followed by the Cory James Mitchel Band from 8 to 10 p.m.
The much-anticipated 50-50 mega raffle draw will take place at 9 p.m., with each ticket sale helping to support and expand opportunities for young athletes.
