Episode Synopsis
In 2 Samuel 7:1-17, King David expresses a desire to build a temple for the Ark of the Covenant, feeling it is inappropriate for him to live in a grand palace while the Ark resides in a tent. The prophet Nathan initially supports David's plan, but later, God speaks to Nathan, telling him that it is not David's role to build the temple.
