Ps Solomon Mwesige was born in Forte Portal, Uganda. He was born into a wealthy family of tea farmers. His father had trained in Canada and was an agricultural officer in the government. Solomon was born out of wedlock and his parents were never together when he was growing up. He had a minimal Christian upbringing but became a Christian at 20. He was kicked out of the family because of his conversion. His father was suspicious of Evangelical Christianity and afraid he would share bad things that were happening in the family. At this point, Solomon went to live with his mum, who was married to a Pastor. Initially, Ps Solomon worked with a ministry and later started his own ministry.
