To celebrate a very special milestone in our podcast, we have a very special guest. I had the opportunity to interview Zerodha Co- Founder, Nithin Kamath alongside Aabha Bakaya at a Business Excellence session hosted by Ladies WHo Lead, led by Aabha.In this live session alongside the audience I was lucky to ask him a few questions. Nithin alongside his brother Nikhil Kamath is the founder and CEO of Zerodha; a financial services company  that offers brokerage-free equity investments, retail, institutional broking, currencies, and commodities trading. Nithin took us through a journey back in time as he spoke about how Zerodha was born and how it has grown over the years, Building his team, the culture and so much more in this interview.He spoke on the significance of business decisions based on customers and why money isn’t everything.Nithin started at the young age of 17 by trading penny stocks. He took the bold decision to start Zerodha in the middle of a trading lull in 2010. In 2016, Economic Times named him one of “10 Indian Businessmen to watch out for in 2016” and Zerodha was awarded “Startup of the Year (Bootstrapped)”.
