Today I am catching up with Emmitt Henderson III also known as Male Lupus Warrior. Emmitt is a Lupus patient, advocate and survivor. He was diagnosed with SLE, Cutaneous and Lupus Nephritis. He went into complete kidney failure in 2011 and received a donor in 2013. As of August 2022, he underwent total kidney failure again and is back on the kidney transplant list. I brought him on the show to share how continues to inspiring others in Lupus and Autoimmune Community and his journey with lupus. Emmitt is an inspiration to all autoimmune warriors. His ability to continue to have faith, hope and smile through his pain and struggles. Even through all of his illnesses he continues to help the warrior community. Update from this recording, Emmitt is back in the hospital again with lupus as of a day ago.
