Mary welcomes back author, apologist and Israel expert Jim Fletcher today for a timely chat about the recent deal for the Israeli hostages. Some say it’s about time, we must get them back. Others say it is extortion, since the face of terrorism is not going to change in Israel regardless. The Gazans were dancing in the streets; was it because peace was finally coming, or was it about the hope of a continuation of struggles for their cause on an increasing level?  There are those who say never negotiate with terrorists, and yet are we placing their lives and cause before the innocent civilian? A moral dilemma for our time – and for this location that seems to play by different rules and on so many stages. We also chat about the Pope’s complete lack of understanding about Israel, and the latest poll that says half of the world is antisemitic on some level. Jim is uniquely articulate about Israel.
