Father Patrick is a national Eucharistic preacher, a role he has undertaken to support the USCCB-led Eucharistic Revival. The overall theme for these three talks is based on the prayer "O Sacred Banquet," composed by Saint Thomas Aquinas, the great Dominican saint and Doctor of the Church. In this first talk, Father Patrick introduces us to this beautiful prayer and reminds us of the importance of memory in recalling the passion of Jesus Christ. How can recalling the passion of Jesus help us in our everyday lives? How can we find healing and consolation in the cross?
