For most of her life, Berni Slowey has carried the burden of losing her 2 year old sister Rose as her family was evacuating Siagon. And now in a twist of events, Rose has reconnected with Berni and her family through the miracle of DNA testing that made a match through a genealogy website. While immensely grateful for this surprise reunion, Berni is also finding herself uncovering and exposing family secrets in her new documentary film, “Finding Rose”.
