In his Eid address, Shaykh Amin impresses upon us the concept of sa‘ī – struggle, accountability and responsibility – which was demonstrated immaculately by the family of Ibrāhīm through the actions of Hajar, Ibrāhīm and Ismail (AS). We see their sa‘ī as a blueprint for how we protect our children, cultivate our families and sacrifice for God – all of which contributes towards the make-up of a successful human civilization.
